Arizona Photographer helps NY Photographer, Brette-Ashley and Phil visit Arizona
I was incredibly excited for this photography session, Brette-Ashley a photographer from New York contacted me to tell me, her and her husband Phil were visiting Arizona. She went on to tell me that she really wanted photos done while they were here. Like most photographers including myself, she is rarely in photographs. I have to tell you, as a photographer being asked by another photographer to make their photographs is quite the honor. Especially when they are coming all the way from New York. Brette and I made plans and come the day of her session, of course it poured down rain. I had just got done telling her over phone conversations to not worry about the weather, it rarely rains in Phoenix! I suppose her and Phil must have brought some of that New York weather with them; we had to cancel her session. Another opportunity presented itself two days later when it cleared up outside, and they returned from visiting Sedona. The lighting was dreamy and the weather was simply perfect for photographing these two adorable love bugs. Brette came prepared, hats and all. I love that during our session together she said,”Phil and I love hats, if you can’t tell.” I love that they showed up with part of themselves for this session, hats and all.
This adorable couple has been married for five years , and they really are just as stinking cute and affectionate toward each other, as they are in the great moments we were able to capture. She proceeded to tell me “We are best friends that love having fun. Not afraid to be goofy and always up for an adventure. We love to travel! Some of the most unique places we have traveled to together are Honduras, England, Netherlands, Germany, Ireland, Caribbean. This was our first time experiencing Arizona together and loved every minute of it.”
Brette-Ashley and Phil it was an honor to photograph you and to get to know you! Thank you so much for choosing me as your photographer!
Love and blessings,
Mel
