Every time have the opportunity to photograph a newborn baby and hold them in my arms I fall deeper and deeper in love with my job. I say it all the time I feel blessed, and how couldn’t I? Six days new and as cute as a button, little Marius Smit came to see me for his first photography session. His tiny toes, and fine newborn baby hair, all priceless. I love the noise they make, and there is nothing like the sweet smell of a beautiful new baby. Simply put they are all heaven sent. Marius barely made a peep while we photographed him, as you can see from his photographs he was actually quite comfy. Dad is an engineer and we were able to preplan a special photo just for dad, and maybe someday Marius will follow in his footsteps.
I had the opportunity to do mom and dad’s maternity session and let me tell you, this sweet newborn baby boy has two wonderful loving parents. I feel so blessed to have had the opportunity to see another family from bump to new baby, I thank the lord everyday for having such a rewarding job. And thank you Smit family for having me make photographs of your beautiful baby!
